GLOUCESTER, Mass. – Taya Balfour (Moorestown, N.J. / Philadelphia Jr. Flyers), Ella Fesette (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Rochester Institute of Expertise), Sydnee Francis (Canton, N.Y. / Nepean Jr. Wildcats), Tessa Morris (Grand Island, N.Y. / Rome Woman’s Hockey), Mattie Norton (Glen Carbon, In poor health. / St. Louis Girl Blues), Maddy Stetson (Wasilla, Alaska / (Little Caesars), Ciara Wall (Somerville, Mass. / College of New Hampshire), and Seoyoung Yoo (Yongin, Republic of Korea / Ontario Hockey Academy) of the Plattsburgh State girls’s ice hockey group have been named 2024-25 Krampade/American Hockey Coaches Affiliation (AHCA) All-American Students, as introduced by the AHCA.
In an effort to qualify for Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar recognition, student-athletes should obtain a 3.75 GPA every semester and seem in 40% of the season’s complete video games.
Norton graduated with a level in accounting and enterprise administration, becoming a member of 15 different student-athletes who had been each All-Individuals and All-American Students. Wall graduated with a level in communications. Balfour is a enterprise administration and worldwide enterprise main, Fesette is pursuing a level in vitamin, and Francis is working in the direction of a nursing diploma. First-years Morris, Stetson, and Yoo all earned the distinction, with Morris and Yoo pursuing levels in communication sciences and issues and accounting, respectively, whereas Stetson is undeclared.
The Cardinals completed the 12 months at 20-7-1 (14-3-1 SUNYAC) and gained the SUNYAC Championship earlier than falling within the first spherical of the NCAA Match to Elmira.
