The New York State Public Excessive College Athletic Affiliation Women Varsity State Championship is within the books with Adirondack United taking the title for the second consecutive yr.
4 groups took to the ice on the Utica College Nexus Enviornment this previous weekend (Feb. 21/22) to vie for the title. Along with ADKÂ representing Part 2;Â it was Skaneateles, Part III; Frontier/Franklinville/LakeShore/Orchard Park (FFLOP), Part VI and Beekmantown, Part VII.
Within the Semi-finals it was FFLOP vs Skaneateles with the Skaneateles Lakers opening the scoring within the final 5 minutes of the primary interval. Layla Smith scored to finish the interval 1-0 Skaneateles.
Simply seconds into the second interval Smith scored once more and the second interval remained 2-0 Lakers till the whistle.

Beekmantown’s group is comprised of gamers from West Chazy, Beekmantown Elementary, Beekmantown Center College and Excessive College.
FFLOP’s groups embrace gamers from Fronter, Franklinville, Orchard Park and LakeShore college districts.
So as to make it to the States, these groups had playoffs towards the opposite sections in New York State. Adirondack (Part 2) performed the North Avalanche (Part 1); FFLOP (VI) vs Webster (V); Ithaca (IV) performed Skaneateles (III) and Potsdam (X) performed Beekmantown (VII).
