The 2024/25 Tyler Putnam Awards Banquet was lately held on the Webster Golf Membership in Webster, NY. Twenty-six Rochester space youth and highschool hockey gamers acquired Putnam Awards, whereas two different space gamers acquired the Unsung Hero and Goaltender Awards, respectively.
The 26 gamers that acquired a Putnam Award embrace: Nicholas Beechey (Irondequoit Excessive Faculty); Anthony Gianvecchio (ROCO, the Rochester Coalition); Carter Griffin (Greece Storm); Matthew Dieter (Webster Schroeder Excessive Faculty); Ryan Hanley (Churchville Chili Excessive Faculty); Blake Hollister (Rochester Youth Hockey).
Jacob Hutchins (Batavia/Notre Dame Excessive Faculty); Aiden Kennedy (Hilton Excessive Faculty); Matt Kozara (McQuaid Jesuit Excessive Faculty); Luke LaForce (Rochester Aces); Nathan MacBride (Victor Excessive Faculty); Carson Meehan (Brighton/HFL/ER Excessive Faculty).

The Colin Montesano Unsung Hero Award was offered to Jack Davila (Aquinas Institute). The Joshua Opladen Goaltender Award winner was Barrett Paolini (Hilton Excessive Faculty).
Tyler Putnam was recognized for his excessive power, unbelievable work ethic and his need to attain his targets. He has been memorialized with a banner that hangs above the ice within the Lakeshore Hockey Enviornment in addition to a memorial helmet sticker that dawns the image of a gold hardhat – a logo of Putnam’s onerous work and dedication to the sport he beloved.
On July 7, 2011 Putnam’s hockey desires ended tragically when he died of an sickness known as Meningococcemia (Meningitis B). Following his passing The Tyler Putnam Basis was shaped.
Since 2012 the Basis has donated greater than $80,000 to households in want of help for registration charges for hockey. Moreover, the Basis has awarded an annual Scholar Athlete Scholarship of $1000 (for the final 11 years, totaling $11,000) to a graduating Senior at Irondequoit Excessive Faculty (the place Tyler attended) who performed hockey and is transferring on to school.
Lindsay Putnam, Tyler’s father and President of the Tyler Putnam Basis, thanked all of the Basis’s sponsors for his or her continued assist.



Amongst these thanked have been Patrick Duff, who has served as Grasp of Ceremonies for a number of years and The Larrabee Basis as a Premier Sponsor of the Tyler Putnam Awards.

WCMF radio persona, Pat Duffy, was the Grasp of Ceremonies for the occasion.



Former Buffalo Sabres participant and now a colour commentator for Sabres broadcasts, Rob Ray, was the visitor speaker.
Ray, together with Tyler’s father, Lindsay Putnam, and Tyler’s sister, Shannon, offered the awards to the recipients.
