The Rochester Individuals clinched a berth within the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs on Wednesday night with a 4-2 win over the visiting Springfield Thunderbirds.
Rochester will play within the postseason for the fiftieth time in franchise historical past. The Amerks are six-time Calder Cup champions and 16-time league finalists; they reached the Jap Convention Finals in 2023.
The Amerks are the second staff to clinch a playoff spot out of the North Division, which is able to see 5 groups make the postseason. The highest three finishers will get a bye into the division semifinals, whereas the fourth- and fifth-place groups will meet in a best-of-three first-round sequence.
