Duluth, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators introduced that the membership has re-signed defenseman Anthony Firriolo for the 2025-26 season.
Firriolo returns to Atlanta after posting 19 factors (4g-15a) and a +7 ranking in 49 video games with the Gladiators final season. The 27-year-old was initially acquired by the Gladiators in a commerce with the Toledo Walleye in December of 2024. He enters his third full season {of professional} hockey with 93 video games of ECHL expertise, spending time with Jacksonville, Indy, Iowa, Tulsa, Toledo and Atlanta since his skilled debut in 2023.
The native of Montville, New Jersey performed 4 years of school hockey at Military West Level from 2019-23, notching 75 factors (22g-53a) in 123 video games. Firriolo led all Military defenders in scoring his junior and senior seasons and was named to the Atlantic Hockey Affiliation All-Second Workforce each years. In his senior season, he was named the Black Knights’ captain and posted a collegiate profession excessive of 29 factors in 36 video games.
