The Cleveland Monsters have signed ahead Rocco Grimaldi to an American Hockey League contract for the rest of the 2024-25 season.
Grimaldi, who signed a tryout with Cleveland previous to the beginning of the season, ranks second within the AHL with 17 assists and 23 factors in 15 video games for the Monsters. He at present has an 11-game scoring streak, the longest within the league this season.
Grimaldi has performed 448 video games over components of 9 seasons within the AHL with Cleveland, Chicago, San Diego, Rockford, Milwaukee, San Antonio and Portland, totaling 181 targets and 212 assists for 393 factors. He was voted a Second Crew AHL All-Star in 2023-24, and took part within the AHL All-Star Traditional in 2018 and 2024.
Initially a second-round draft alternative by Florida in 2011, Grimaldi has recorded 30 targets and 37 assists for 67 factors in 203 profession NHL video games with the Panthers, Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche.
