Columbus, GA – The Athens Rock Lobsters defeated the Columbus River Dragons in regulation final night time, 5-2.
Connor Lind kicked issues off simply 22 seconds into the sport, placing the River Dragons forward early within the first interval, 1-0.
The Rock Lobsters struck again within the second interval with three unanswered objectives, leaving the River Dragons trailing, 3-1.
Within the third interval, Ryan Hunter discovered a second of weak spot in Athens’ protection and buried one at 10:26 to convey life again to the River Dragons’ pursuit.
Sadly for Columbus although, the rest of their battles went fruitless.
The Rock Lobsters sealed their win with a salty empty internet purpose at 19:51, posting a remaining rating of 5-2.
Each groups will meet once more Wednesday in Columbus for Sport 1 of the primary spherical within the FPHL Commissioner’s Cup playoffs.
