The Laval Rocket clinched a berth within the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs on Friday night with a 4-1 win over the visiting Toronto Marlies.
Laval, homeowners of one of the best file within the AHL at 42-16-3-1 (88 factors), returns to the postseason after lacking out in 2024. The Rocket reached the Jap Convention Finals again in 2022.
Laval is the primary workforce to clinch a playoff spot out of the North Division, which can see 5 groups make the postseason. The highest three finishers will get a bye into the division semifinals, whereas the fourth- and fifth-place groups will meet in a best-of-three first-round collection.
