NORTH CHARLESTON, SC. – The Stingrays fell to the Orlando Photo voltaic Bears 6-2 in sport six of their best-of-seven first-round sequence within the 2025 Kelly Cup Playoffs offered by Neal Brothers.

The most effective-of-seven sequence is tied at three video games apiece. There will likely be a sport seven on the North Charleston Coliseum on Tuesday, April 29, at 7:05 pm. Followers can buy tickets for sport seven here.

Ryan Hofer and Jayden Lee scored for the Stingrays, whereas goaltender Mitchell Gibson made 23 saves on 28 pictures.

Orlando struck first with a wrist shot by Spencer Kersten. Reece Newkirk discovered Kersten with a cross-ice feed to offer Orlando a 1-0 lead 11:13 into the primary interval. Thirty-four seconds later, the Photo voltaic Bears doubled their lead with an unassisted objective by Anthony Bardaro, who intercepted a cross because the Stingrays had been making an attempt to clear the puck out of the zone. The Stingrays obtained on the board late within the first interval with a shorthanded objective from Hofer. Andrew Perrott entered the zone and located Hofer for a fast wrist shot previous Orlando goaltender Jon Gillies.

Alex Frye regained the three-goal benefit for Orlando with a backhand shot that beat Gibson 7:39 into the second interval, making the rating 4-1. Newkirk and Kersten earned the assists.

South Carolina minimize into their deficit with a second shorthanded objective halfway by the interval. Lee entered the zone and ripped a shot from the proper circle previous Gillies to make it a 4-2 sport.

Orlando’s Tyler Chook scored 1:45 into the third interval. Aaron Luchuk and Chook executed a give-and-go, and Chook tapped the puck into an open web to increase Orlando’s result in three.

Kersten added an empty web tally to make it a 6-2 closing and tie the sequence at 3-3.

The Stingrays will likely be again house on the North Charleston Coliseum with the deciding sport of the best-of-seven sequence in opposition to Orlando this Tuesday at 7:05 pm. Followers can buy tickets for sport seven here.
