RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Speedy Metropolis Rush, ECHL affiliate of the Nationwide Hockey League’s Calgary Flames, introduced the signing of goaltender Nathan Torchia for the 2025-26 season. Torchia is about to start his first full skilled season.
Torchia, 25, signed with the Rush on March 19 after finishing his collegiate profession on the College of Windsor. Torchia performed three video games with Speedy Metropolis and began two, competing to a 1-1-0 report and 4.08 goals-against common. He saved his finest begin for final, a 44-save victory towards Utah on April 9.
Torchia excelled over 4 years collegiately at Windsor; he performed 78 video games, compiled a 45-27-4 report, and posted a goals-against common beneath three in every season. The Baden, Ontario native was named Group MVP in 2024 and USports Goaltender of the 12 months for the 2022-23 season.
